It depends on how far the fixtures are moving and what the floor is. A straight tub to shower swap is usually short. Moving a toilet or adding a second vanity takes longer because drain and vent runs change. You get the timeline with the written quote.
Usually the trap under the drain holds a film of hair and soap that no cleaner reaches. Sometimes a dry trap in a guest bathroom lets sewer gas up the line instead. We clear the trap properly and check the venting so the smell stops returning.
